Hotspot

The municipality of Porto, through Porto Digital, has set up numerous hotspots throughout the city that provide access to the Porto Free Wi-Fi and Eduroam network, which is owned and managed by Porto Digital.

The infrastructure comprises routers, optical fiber, and other necessary components to deliver wireless internet. This service enables free internet connectivity for any device with Wi-Fi capability. The routers are installed on street furniture, lampposts or bus shelters.
